Die Design
Valco uses unique methods of die manufacturing, with a special type of steel for the dies which — though very expensive — gives longer die life and holds dimension far better over a run.
Controlled Stretching
Designing of profiles is done to shrink tolerances so that dimensions come out accurate after stretching, rather than needing correction downstream.
Nitriding after 1000 Kgs
A state of the art nitriding process, applied on a strict schedule, keeps the tolerances intact across the life of the die.
Monitoring Die Life
We deliberately keep die life at a lower level than the industry norm. It costs more, and it is the reason we can promise absolute precision in closed tolerances.
